<p>Morning sickness is a natural and normal part of pregnancy.  While it doesn’t always have to happen in the morning, women who are pregnant do often get very sick in the mornings when they wake up.  Often times the reasons are not known, but certain foods tend to throw triggers that will cause a pregnant woman to get very nauseous and in many cases cause vomiting.  Morning sickness is not one of the more pleasant parts of the pregnancy, but it is an estimated 60 percent will have or experience morning sickness at some point in their pregnancy.  It is important to note that while certain foods and situations might set off a bout with morning sickness, it is caused mainly by fluctuating hormones levels.  The body feels as if it has a “parasite”, and though we know that the baby is not one of these, the body still does not recognize that fact.  So, it will react in such a way to attempt to expel the threat.  Then after about the 13<sup>th</sup> to 14<sup>th</sup> week, this problem should naturally subside.  Morning sickness can often put life on hold, and is never fun for the woman, so it is important to make sure that this issue is dealt with.  The problem however, is that doctors will often prescribe drugs like phenegren.  This type of drug will reduce the feeling of an upset stomach, but now the child takes a hefty dose of prescription drug.</p>

<p>As we said before, it is mostly believed that an overactive thyroid can be caused by a problem with the immune system, such as most glands or organ malfunctions. The immune system is the first defense against just about any ailment known to the human anatomy, so keeping the immune system strong will allow your other organs to keep performing the tasks that they were designed to perform.</p>
